Wilton Carpets is a leading contract carpet manufacturer, specialising in the production of high quality woven axminster, wilton and tufted carpets for hotel and hospitality markets.
A vacancy has arisen for a Business Area Manager to be based in the Midlands region, with responsibility for sales of both stock ranges and bespoke carpets through a network of flooring contractor customers. Promotion of products and services via interior designers and other key specifiers is also required.
Some prior experience of contract carpet sales is necessary, and knowledge of woven products and hotel / hospitality routes to market is preferable. A clear ability to generate new business from existing and new customers is essential. Above all, candidates should have the capability to communicate confidently and effectively on all commercial matters, but also be comfortable with design, colour and layout issues as they arise.
