Two-time Queen’s Award for Enterprise winner Panaz, specialists in the design, manufacture and distribution of furnishing fabrics for the worldwide hospitality and leisure markets, seek a Business Development Manager for Southern and Western Europe.
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Chief Executive, the individual will be responsible for increasing turnover through management and coordination of the established Southern and Western European territories. Particular emphasis is placed on increasing turnover from our existing client base (both purchasing and specifying), as well as increasing sales with new clients.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be multi-lingual with fluent French, have experience in managing a sales team and will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering growth in previous roles. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to report concisely but informatively and will recognise the importance of networking. Computer literacy, including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, is essential. CRM is a key part of Panaz’s forward growth strategy and candidates with experience in working with CRM systems are preferred. Full product training will be given; experience in the sale of contract furnishing fabrics or another FF&E product line will be an advantage. Salary commensurate with knowledge and experience.
