E.J Badekabiner are the largest bathroom pod manufacturer in Europe, and the use of pods saves time and money on projects. With manufacturing under controlled conditions in a factory it is easier for standards of manufacture to be sustained at a very high level. The production can be done offsite speeding up construction time and the completed bathroom is delivered to site, as the photographs show, all ready to be connected up to the relevant services.

Amongst other benefits is the reduction of loss from site as the bathrooms can be delivered complete with all their light fittings, towel rails, taps and tiling etc. and locked until handover. There is o no loss of items from storage due to damage or pilfering, no more than the pod delivery itself to be checked and bathrooms can be scheduled to be fitted as required by the contract.

For an Express by Holiday Inn up to 7 pods can be delivered in one truck load. For a larger bathroom such as a Marriott the number per load might be three or four. The six tonne podded all marble bathrooms delivered to the Celtic Manor Resort, still the largest bathroom pods delivered by the company to date, were transported two to a truck load. At the peak eight per week were being fitted to the hotel at a cost of roughly half the price of those installed in situ.

From its factories in the UK and Denmark the company is able to deliver quickly to any site in Europe. Minimum order is negotiable but savings really kick in on quantities of 50 identical pods or more. If you have the chance to visit either factory take it – to see the pods being moved along the production line at the end of a day is a little like watching an industrial ballet.
