Hotels: Hilton deal Completed

1976, and Ladbrokes broke ground on the Mercury Motor Inn in Leyland Lancashire, marking the beginning of their investment in Hotels. Today comes the announcement that over a quarter of a century later Ladbrokes is reborn as the betting arm breaks free of the Hotel sector that it has, according to some shareholders, been propping up for years.
