Dixon Turner Wallcoverings are pleased announce the launch of Mariko. Drawing on Oriental influences, Mariko is a stylish collection of five different designs which not only coordinate with each other but also stand alone to offer both large scale impact and subtle sophistication. Designed for the commercial and residential interior markets and with a contemporary use of traditional floral designs, textured plains, a wide stripe and a horizontal printed texture, this narrow width, paper-backed vinyl evokes the senses and dazzles with naturalistic splendour.
Kazari
Senzai, the large contemporary floral of the group offers a stylized oriental feel. Having incorporated a range of printing effects this design has many options, whether you choose to opt for metallic backgrounds or both the positive and negative mono prints, Senzai exudes modern day chic. Further enhancing its design, Senzai has a colour palette that crosses between the sophisticated metallics of gold, silver and bronze to the striking high fashion tones of pink and turquoise or grape with lime. For a more modest feel, the cool ivory and stone shades are complimented by the rich depth of the chocolate colourway.
Treated with a simple sophistication, Kazari is a panel design of leaves and grasses. This mono print stands alone allowing the creation of a feature in any room. The colour palette of Kazari ranges from pretty duck egg and gold, to the drama of deep burgundy with copper leaves. The ever fashionable back and white colourway has been given a subtle pearlescent sheen to its background and the glorious Chinese red colourway is highlighted by an aged gilt metallic.
At 53cm in width, Mariko Stripe can be used as a statement paper in its own right, or as a coordinate to Kazari and Senzai, having been coloured accordingly. The metallic background that has been used on some colourways gives a wonderful lustre, which gives great depth and life to the printed colours. For a modern day twist the stripe can also be hung horizontally.
Mayoko is a horizontal printed texture which has been coloured to coordinate with the feature designs of the collection. The panelled effect of Mayoko is reminiscent of natural grass cloths when used on the wall; the metallic inks used give a luxurious finish to the design. With a varied palette the colourways within Mayoko vary from delicate neutrals to striking metallics.
The fine linen texture of Kanji creates a wonderful depth. This design expands the colour palette of the Mariko collection varying from the feature colours of lime, grape, Chinese red and chocolate to the extended choice of useable neutral shades. Kanji ties the whole collection together with its understated design.
