Kimptons Nine Zero, Boston, Massachusetts

Corridors are discreet but the artwork lifts them out of the ordinary, and again the finishes are of high quality, although personally I find the use of the russet sheers ever so slightly tacky. Lighting throughout is discreet but effective and helps the air of quality. The quality that greets on first entering is maintained throughout this building, and one is never aware of just how big an hotel this is. Even the stylish suite retains a European sense of scale, only the outsize toilet bowls reminding one that this is, after all, the USA.

Kimpton continue to expand, and have a long term eye on the European market. This hotel would work as well in London as it does in Boston (and room rates are often not too far apart as Boston is on a par with New York in its rates). It has location and style, it has its business focus. It is easy to see from this example why the Kimpton chain is maintaining its popularity.
